Duck numbers are randomly allocated from the remaining pool when a sale is recorded. The register prevents duplicates and keeps one shared state for everyone connected to the server.
Winners can be set either by automatic draw from sold ducks or by manual entry when organisers are ready to announce them, and the results board identifies the matching customer for each winning duck.
